Growing Pains

2months, 4months, 6months and 12...babies who get immunized will stay well! At least that's what the song says :-)

On this particular day, I know Mommy was not one of her favorite people. Who could blame her? Chandler got her immunizations and her ears pierced all in the same day! No one can say who cried more...her, or her Mommy! lol!

It's ok tho'...we both survived. And she slept like a "baby."

Show me the "Love"

Valentine's Day yielded a couple of special "Firsts." Not only was it Chandler's first "Cupid's Day," but she also received her first "Flower."

Thank you Big Poppa...for showing her the Love :-)

I think it's safe to say..dudes in her future are gonna have a tough act to follow!

The forehead kiss...

During the first few weeks of Chandler's life, her brother couldn't leave to go to school without giving her a gentle forehead kiss. As she's gotten older, and he a little more used to having her around, he skips the forehead kiss but is quick to attend to her needs by "asking her what's wrong" or be the first to tell you "my sister is hungry" whenever she cries (Don't we all wish "cry interpreting" was that simple...LOL).

Everyone seems to think that it's "so cute" the way he looks after her and "he's such a good big brother." Daddy and I are definitely not going to fool ourselves into thinking that this is the way it's always going to be. As soon as she's "mobile", getting into his things and talking back, their relationship as we now know it will change...DRAMATICALLY! (I'm soooooo waiting for the "missing" doll head moment!)

But until then...We'll savor these moments :-)

Life is good!
